Financial Aid for School Tuition

Financing an education today is often one of the single largest financial commitment a family makes. For many, their desire for an excellent education for their children exceeds their ability to pay for it. For those families who are also committed to the fundamental importance of an education that honors God as the creator of all things and all knowledge, we want to attempt to provide assistance. It is our belief that the educational environment and experience is enhanced when there is a diversity of economic backgrounds among the students. Harvest Christian Academy has very limited funding available to offer financial assistance, up to a maximum of 90% tuition, to those families who can demonstrate objective financial need. This is accomplished through the use of a third party organization, which will evaluate your application in complete privacy.

Contact us for more information at 302-654-2613 to get started!

Financial aid is offered to preschool through 12th-grade families. Financial aid is tuition assistance offered for the purpose of helping you meet your educational expenses. Harvest Christian Academy funds tuition assistance aid through outside donors.

You must have an application for admission on file to apply for financial aid. Your acceptance is required prior to award notification. You must have a completed application on line. Awards are made on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are depleted.

Applications for financial aid are available online and may be filled out electronically using the FACTS website. The required tax documents may be submitted online approximately 24 hours after the initial application has been completed. FACTS requires a $40 non-refundable application fee.

All tuition assistance is based on demonstrated financial need. Financial aid awards can cover up to 90% of tuition. The parent is responsible for the tuition balance described on the Financial Fact Sheet.

FACTS will evaluate need by analyzing:

• Total taxable income from parents (including child support, social security, welfare, etc.)

• Size of family and dependency status

• Number of children in tuition-charging schools

• Social Security expenses

• Medical and dental expenses

• Child care costs

• Current value and indebtedness of real estate and other major assets

• Value and indebtedness of any business ownership

All applications are reviewed for accuracy. Incorrect applications will cause a delay in processing and may prevent you from receiving aid.

All enrolled students and students applying for admission may apply. The student billing account of enrolled students must be current. Re-enrolling applicants must consistently maintain high standards of citizenship. If you need further assistance, please contact the Business Office at 302-654-2613 during business hours  Harvest Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, nationality and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. Harvest does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, nationality and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, financial aid and loan programs, or other school-administered programs.
