Harvest Child & Youth Development Corp.

HCYDC serves families of New Castle, DE, and surrounding areas. The Center offers several biblically based programs, designed to aid youth with emotional, social, physical, cognitive, and spiritual development. Our programs service children from the ages of 6 weeks through 4 years old.

When caring for an infant’s love, patience and attentiveness is important! Our certified teachers closely monitor all children in their care. At Harvest, it is our goal to provide our infants a “Home away from Home” where the children are nurtured and encouraged to explore and play.

Toddlers are naturally driven by curiosity and problem solving coupled by an increasing desire to be independent. As our toddlers grow and develop new skills, our staff encourages and motivates them to reach new levels. Our school is more than just a “daycare” as we believe that education, when started at an early age, can change a child’s life. In the classrooms you can see children working on their motor skills, pre-math skills, communication skills and literacy skills. Also, at this early age we start working with the children to teach them empathy, compassion, and other Christian values. Our goals are to strengthen and raise the child: academically, socially, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Come check us out and see for yourself why Harvest Christian Early Childhood Development Center is the place for your child!

Our Pre K3 and Pre K4 programs are the perfect blend of academics and fun! The Pre-K program is the bridge for the children from our toddler program to our elementary school. The children are in full uniform and have half day curriculum. Part of our Pre-K experience is weekly Art, Physical Education classes and participating in chapel. Our certified Pre-K teachers plan activities to meet and challenge the children in all their areas of development through reading books, singing songs and rhymes, counting games, art projects, nature walks and more.
